Diego 'Mudo' Valdez returns to Paraguayan football

Diego 'Mudo' Valdez has returned to Paraguayan football after his brief stint with Mexican team San Luis, where he did not find much playing time. The 26-year-old midfielder will play for Sol de America in the Apertura tournament.

The agreement between the player, Sol de America, and San Luis was a loan for six months. Valdez will make himself available to coach Pablo Escobar in order to earn a spot in the team, who suffered a 3-0 defeat against River Plate in the first match.

Sol de America's next match in the domestic tournament will be on Sunday against Sportivo Luqueno at 18:00 at the Luis Alfonso Giagni stadium.
