Nery Bareiro signs with Binacional

Nery Bareiro, 31 years old, will continue his sports career in Binacional, Peru's top division, which secured the participation of the center-back throughout 2020.

The defender showed enthusiasm for this new step in his career. "It is a well-structured club, with so few years of existence, it has already become champion and will play the Copa Libertadores," he said on Thursday in a conversation with Fútbol a lo Grande.

The Poderoso del Sur, as the Peruvian institution founded 9 years ago is known, will be the sixth team abroad for the Paraguayan player, after his experiences in Deportivo Cali and Junior (Colombia), Creta (Greece), Chapecoense and Coritiba (Brazil).

In Paraguay, Bareiro played for Libertad, Tacuary, Sportivo Luqueño, Guaraní, and most recently was part of Sportivo San Lorenzo, where he became one of the main players in the defensive zone.
