No vamos a mover la tierra
"We are not going to move the ground. We are not surprised at anything that came out 24 hours ago. We know that during the classic week the nest is always stirred up," said the leader to local media.
He also avoided making further statements and expressed his desire for Sunday's game. "We hope we have a sporting party as it should be," he concluded.
Presidents of the First Division clubs of Paraguayan football met this Tuesday at the APF to analyze the situation of Marco Trovato after a journalistic publication linked his company to electronic payments of sports betting.
According to Article 26 of the Code of Ethics of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), "people subject to this code are prohibited from participating, directly or indirectly, in betting, gambling, lotteries, and similar activities or businesses related to soccer matches or competitions and/or other activities related to soccer."
The emergency meeting called by the President of the Paraguayan Football Association, Robert Harrison, had as its main novelty to remove the Paraguayan football match schedule from the betting house.
The case was also referred to the Ethics and Integrity Committee of the APF, which will determine whether or not there is an infringement on the part of the titular franjeado.
