An example has given us a week ago in sports, in the discipline of soccer, and what was that example? The example of the Ecuadorian team Independiente del Valle, a team that showed a winning mentality and built their mental strength in each match, for the Copa Sudamericana, to be able to defeat their worthy rivals in the task of the distinguished competition in 2019.
Who did it conquer? The world of football, journalism, and fans; while hundreds of pages already written and those yet to be published will highlight the relevance of the Copa Sudamericana title/crown achieved in a football-crazy country like Paraguay and against a team with numerous fans in Argentina such as Colón de Santa Fe. Such celebration and victory lap will never be erased from our memories; a team that, without being an idol, made an impact and is still being talked about.
Where was the success of this South American crown born? It resided in a serious and well-analyzed plan, with micro and macro evaluations applied from the formative stages to the professional team, led by knowledgeable people/professors/coaches, a work that the football country has been observing/applauding for the past ten years. Any plan aimed at a clear and precise goal has a victorious landing.
Applause and praise. For whom? For the managers and especially for Michel Deller, who, humble and unpretentious, has shown that he knows how to handle businesses and areas in sports; for his coaching staff, where coach Miguel Ángel Ramírez discovered the virtues of his athletes and, with wisdom in the training sessions, conquered the pinnacle with that glorious and historic title; for his players, true workers on the field, combined by a youth eager for the gold medal and an experience that instills the belief that with a good invisible preparation, one can play professional football until the age of 40.
