Paraguay seals a spot in the quarterfinals of the U17 World Cup
Paraguay secured its place in the quarterfinals of the U17 World Cup on Thursday, after a strong comeback to defeat Argentina 3-2.
Paraguay, who had topped Group F ahead of Italy and Mexico, overwhelmed their opponent in the second half and changed the course of the match from a 2-0 deficit, with goals from Diego Torres and Diego Duarte, as well as an own goal from Lautaro Cano.
On Sunday, in Cariacica, Gustavo Morínigo's team will face the Netherlands, who eliminated Nigeria. The match will be broadcasted by NPY and Tigo Sports.
