Olimpia's visit to River Plate

Daniel Garnero, coach of the leading Olimpia, didn't beat around the bush and in advance confirmed the starting eleven that will face River Plate in their visit to Los Jardines del Kelito after 27 years.

The Olimpia team will be composed of: Alfredo Aguilar; Sergio Otálvaro, José Leguizamón, Jorge Arias, Miguel Samudio; Alejandro Silva, Rodrigo Rojas, Richard Ortiz, Hugo Fernández; Erik López and Roque Santa Cruz.

The match will take place on Saturday, at 20:15, for the 14th round of the Clausura championship. Olimpia is currently leading the tournament with 32 points, while their opponent is in the tenth position with 13 points.

HISTORICAL FACT. The last visit of Olimpia to the Barrio Mburicaó neighborhood was on April 5, 1992, with a goalless draw, for the round of 16 of the República tournament (which crowned Olimpia as undefeated champion).
