Olimpia, current three-time champion of Paraguayan football and the current leader of the Clausura 2019 tournament, is slowly starting to think about what the 2020 season will bring, where the main objective will be the Copa Libertadores.
The Franjeado team already has two secured reinforcements for next year: right-back Alan Benítez and offensive midfielder Jorge Recalde, both with contracts until December at Libertad, but who are marginalized from the first team and train with the Reserves.
Alan, who has reportedly already signed a pre-contract with Olimpia for five seasons and will join the Franjeado squad starting January 1, 2020, was present at the Tigo Manuel Ferreira stadium in Olimpia's 3-0 victory over Nacional this Saturday.
The right-back, who was also reportedly pursued by Cerro Porteño at one point, was present in one of the boxes and was observed alongside Diego Benítez, the club's sports manager.
