Note about Paraguayan Selection Friendly Matches
The Paraguayan National Team will face two friendly matches during the FIFA international break. The first match will be against Japan on Thursday, September 5th, and the second match will be against Jordan on Tuesday, September 10th.
In addition to the called-up international players, 5 local players were included in the squad, although it is actually 4 locals and 1 foreign player due to Richard Sánchez's recent transfer to Mexican club América.
The new additions to the team are goalkeeper Marino Arzamendia from Luqueño, and midfielder Iván Franco, both being called up for the first time by Eduardo Berizzo's Albirroja.
The last 5 players called up are Marino Arzamendia (Luqueño), Iván Piris (Libertad), Rodrigo Rojas (Olimpia), Iván Franco (Libertad), and Richard Sánchez (América).
