DALLAS

In the 90th minute, Jonathan Urretaviscaya covered the distance between the FC Dallas and Pachuca areas in seconds, doing so to prevent Aaron Guillen from scoring the third goal for the American team with a slide tackle. Tuzos lost 2-1 in the first leg of the Concacaf Champions League semifinals, but they will close the tie at home.

Kellyn Acosta's touch of genius gave FC Dallas the advantage in the 58th minute and forced Tuzos to win at the Hidalgo stadium.

The advantage that Diego Alonso's team obtained in the third minute turned out to be a mirage. Erick Aguirre ran to the byline, beat a FC Dallas defender, and crossed the ball for Franco Jara. The Argentine celebrated the 1-0.

That goal made it seem like an easy game for the visitors. Pachuca controlled the midfield and tested goalkeeper Chris Seitz. The American goalkeeper and his defense managed to withstand the Tuzos' efforts and encouraged FC Dallas to go on the attack.

One minute before the end of the first half, Maximiliano Urruti found a poorly cleared ball by goalkeeper Alfonso Blanco, and the Argentine did not miss the chance. The 1-1 was the scoreline at halftime.

In the second half, Pachuca lacked a player who could maintain pressure in the attack, and FC Dallas started to connect with their offense.

The ease of reaching the Pachuca goal led to a free-kick outside the box. Three players from the visiting team surrounded the ball, but Kellyn Acosta took the shot.

The American player sent the ball to the top corner of the Pachuca goal. Alfonso Blanco's dive was in vain, and FC Dallas will visit Pachuca with the advantage of having won at home.
