Pablo Aguilar and Enrique Triverio, players of América and Toluca, respectively, received a one-year suspension from the Appeals Commission, which could still be revoked if they go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
According to Chapter IV of the appeals regulations, in Article 29, "the resolutions issued by the Appeals Commission will be final and will take effect from the moment they are notified".
Although the article also recognizes that the resolutions "can only be appealed to the CAS".
Therefore, both players could return to activity in less than the twelve months indicated if the CAS so decides.
