Two Mexican soccer players suspended for one year
Pablo Aguilar will not be able to play for Club America for the next 12 months, as determined by the Disciplinary Commission after the appeal made by the referees against the initial punishment that the Paraguayan had received (10 games) for pushing and headbutting referee Fernando Hernandez.
Enrique Triverio, player of Toluca, also did not escape a more severe sanction, as he had initially been suspended for eight games and now received a penalty of one year of inactivity.
"This Commission has decided to sanction players Enrique Triverio and Pablo Aguilar with a one-year suspension and a fine of 450 UMAs (33,970 pesos) for breaking article 18 of the disciplinary regulations."
