Monarcas Morelia wants to ensure the safety of players and attendees at Estadio Morelos with new security measures, which will take effect starting from the team's game against Tiburones Rojos on March 4th.
The main measure is the eradication of glass bottles within the stadium. Instead, vendors will have a backpack with a beer dispenser, which will be served only in disposable cups, a decision that will also apply to sodas and bottled water.

This is in response to the bottle that a pseudo-fan threw at Rubens Sambueza in Matchday 7, which almost hit the face of the Argentine player.
The aggressor, identified by the club as Fernando Bedolla Chávez, was banned from the facility, in addition to informing the Liga MX about the case to prevent him from entering any Mexican soccer stadium.
