The Veracruz Carnival is near

Like every year, the traditional baseball game between 'Single' and 'Married' could not be missing, one of the most important pre-festivity events in the city of Veracruz.

This year was the first time that this game was formally integrated into the Veracruz Carnival, a game in which 50 men dressed as women participated, wearing curly, blonde, black and red wigs, and to look more 'beautiful', some of the players used makeup.

The 'Single' and 'Married' teams arrived on a float on Ávila Camacho Boulevard, then walked like 'divas' on the Playa Martí catwalk and, after that, they shouted ¡Play ball!

The sports event has become a family spectacle, as hundreds of people, including children, young people and the elderly, gathered at Playa Martí to enjoy the baseball game.
