Player Edson Puch Raises Interest from Mexican Teams

One of the standout players in the League has already caught the attention of several team executives. Edson Puch arrived in Mexico as a champion of the Copa America Centenario with the Chilean national team, as one of the players who defeated Mexico 7-0, and with great expectations that, undoubtedly, he has fulfilled.

That is why there are already rumors about the interest of Monterrey and Club America in his services.

Carlos López de Silanes, sports director of Necaxa, stated that they would like Puch to leave the team and that, so far, there have been no formal approaches, although he has no doubt they will arrive soon.

"We have discussed it amongst ourselves, we do not want to dismantle the team, we want a squad that remains intact. We do not have plans to sell Puch, surely the formal offers are yet to come, we do not have them on the table yet," he told La Aficion.

Of course, plans in football tend to change from one moment to another, and in the event that an important proposal arrives for the player and the team, it will be analyzed.

"We will talk with the player, when we have something, we will see what is best for the player, for the board. What is certain is that currently, the board and the coaching staff do not want Puch or anyone else to leave."
