The Monterrey Football Club has spoken out about the regrettable criminal acts that occurred outside the Gigante de Acero stadium this Sunday, following their team's defeat against the Cruz Azul in their return to the Liga MX. The club completely condemns these acts and will take appropriate measures.
In a press release, the club informed that they will take pertinent measures against those responsible for the incidents that occurred around the facility located in Guadalupe, NL, and they will also assist the authorities in apprehending the aggressors.
“The integrity of our fans is a priority for the Club. Although the acts of violence occurred outside the stadium, we reject and condemn the acts that injured two members of a medical services unit and other individuals,” detailed the statement.
“We will take the necessary measures to prevent the individuals responsible for these violent acts from entering the BBVA Stadium again.

The Club recognizes and highlights the exemplary behavior of the majority of attendees to the stadium and reaffirms its commitment to preserving a safe and family-friendly environment in our Rayada House.
This is not the first occasion in which the Monterrey Football Club collaborates with security authorities to open an investigation and apprehend the aggressors, to prevent them from accessing the BBVA Stadium again.
