The executive presented an advance of the Mexican football restructuring project and clarified that they are expecting a formal invitation from Conmebol via Concacaf to participate in the Copa Libertadores, although it has not arrived yet.

"The rumors are not true, we are in conversations with Concacaf and Conmebol. We need an invitation from Conmebol, approved by Concacaf. Despite our desire to play there, the invitation needs to arrive at Concacaf. We have a lot of interest in playing competitions in South America," added the commissioner of the Mexican Football Federation.
