The Mexico Red Devils Make a Managerial Change
The Mexico Red Devils have decided to make a change in their structure after their second series at home in this 2023 Mexican Baseball League campaign.
Juan Gabriel Castro will no longer be the manager of the team, as stated by the scarlet management through a statement, in which they pointed out that they made the decision "after a thorough analysis of the first series of the regular season".
"We thank Juan Gabriel Castro for the work he has done with the team until today, and we wish him success in all his future professional and personal activities." Expresses the letter, published an hour after Mexico fell 9-0 against Durango Generals at the Alfredo Harp Helú stadium. They beat them in two out of three games of the series.

At the moment, the Red Devils have a record of six wins and nine losses, placing them at the bottom of the standings in the south zone.
Who Will Be the New Manager of the Red Devils?
The statement announces that Víctor Flamingo Bojórquez will be the manager of the Mexico City team. As part of Juan Gabriel Castro's staff, Flamingo served as a bench coach, but he will take on the position of manager on an interim basis for the next games, while a permanent successor is chosen.
"The team will announce the changes that will occur from this decision at the right time," the Mexico City residents point out in their letter, which was shared through their social media platforms.
"The Mexico Red Devils are working with commitment to present the winning team that the 'Scarlet Fans' deserve, both on and off the field," concludes the letter.
The upcoming matches for the Red Devils are against Bravos de León as visitors (from May 9th to 11th) and against Pericos de Puebla (from May 12th to 14th), also as part of their tour. The return to the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium will be from May 16th to 19th, when Tecolotes Dos Laredos arrives in the capital city.
