There is no date that is not fulfilled, Saúl Álvarez will face John Ryder this Saturday at the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara, an unprecedented event for the boxer who, despite having more fights in Mexico in his history, never of this type of dimensions.
That is why, for his exit to the ring, the Mexican boxer was accompanied by just over 100 mariachis on his way, in one of the many surprises that Saúl had announced since the weigh-in ceremony.
"We are about to start, to start playing for Canelo's entrance, approximately (we are 120 mariachis). We have been practicing for about two weeks so that it turns out as best as possible. I think it's going to be a bit overwhelming, but you're already a bit used to the stage," said one of the musicians in an interview with TV Azteca.
Who will sing the Mexican National Anthem in Canelo's fight?
For this fight, Beto Vega was in charge of singing the Mexican National Anthem a few minutes before the bell rings in the ring at the Chivas stadium; Beto is a great friend of Saúl, who has accompanied them in great stages of his life, such as his wedding with María Fernández and his children's birthdays.
