Clausura 2023 Relegation: results
From May 6th to 7th, the matches for the Clausura 2023 Relegation will be played. It is a one-time encounter at the stadium of the team best positioned in the table. In case of a tie, the match goes directly to penalties. The matchups were defined in the last round of the championship.

Mexican League: qualifiers and matchups
The top four teams in the Clausura 2023 qualified directly for the Mexican League. The other four will come from the Relegation. The eight clubs are ordered according to their position in the general table, and the matchups are as follows:
Monterrey vs. Atlas
Toluca vs. Santos
América vs. Tigres
Chivas vs. San Luis
It should be noted that in the Mexican League, matches are played in home and away legs, with the higher-ranked team in the table deciding the series in their stadium. The quarterfinals begin on May 10th and 11th with the first leg matches.
Mexican League: when is the grand final?
The dates for the home and away matches of the grand final of the Clausura 2023 tournament of the Liga MX are already known. According to the schedule, the first match will be played on Thursday, May 25th, while the last match will be on Sunday, May 28th.
There is a possibility that América and Chivas, the two biggest clubs in Mexico, could face each other in the grand final of the Mexican League. For that to happen, they must first eliminate their respective quarterfinal rivals. If Monterrey is eliminated, there will be a reordering of positions for the semifinals.
