After the attacks suffered by Rayados fans at the Mazatlán Stadium, the Disciplinary Commission sanctioned the Cañonero team with a warning of veto.
The disciplinary department informed about the punishment that the cañonero team will receive, after failing to comply with article 47 of the FMF Sanctions Regulations.
This article was broken due to the attacks by local authorities who violated a section of the Monterrey fans who made the trip to the Kraken.
The Disciplinary Commission resolved the investigation process for the events that occurred in the match between Mazatlán FC and Rayados de Monterrey.

The regulations indicate that security must be complied with in the stands, corridors, tunnels, and locker rooms. The Disciplinary Commission warned Mazatlán FC that if the actions are repeated, there will be more severe consequences.
Images of fans have circulated throughout Mexico, with people who ended up beaten up or with torn jerseys.
The brawl in the stands occurred in the victory of La Pandilla 2-0 against Mazatlán FC, held last Friday 21 at the Kraken Stadium, for Matchday 16 of Clausura 2023.
