The actor who portrayed 'Señor Barriga' revealed in which episode Roberto Gómez delivered a hard blow to his face and almost knocked him unconscious. "Everything was real," said the Mexican.

It has been more than 40 years since 'El Chavo del 8' stopped broadcasting on Mexican television. Despite the passage of time, this humor series has become a reference point for Spanish speakers and its creator Roberto Gómez Bolaños has achieved worldwide fame due to the characters he created with his cast of actors.

Edgar Vivar, the Mexican actor who brought 'Mr. Barriga' to life in 'El Chavo del 8', surprised thousands of fans of 'Chespirito' by revealing that in one of the episodes of the series, he received a hard blow and it was 100% REAL.

What exactly happened? In the episode 'Los globos', aired in 1973 in the series 'El Chavo del 8', a scene was shown in which 'Mr. Barriga' received a hard blow from the 'Niño del Barril'. Well, this blow was supposed to be fake, but it was completely real.

As can be seen in this video, the actor Edgar Vivar received such a strong blow that he fell to the ground and became dazed. Thus, 'El Chavo del 8' improvised this scene and everything was recorded on camera.

To make matters worse, Edgar Vivar himself spoke out about it on Twitter and confirmed that in this episode, 'El Chavo', Roberto Gómez Bolaños "went too far" because the blow was completely real.
