Starts the era of Diego Cocca as coach of the Mexican National Team
The Argentine coach made his debut as the leader of the Tricolor in a 24-hour micro-cycle, with the call-up of 24 players and players from the lower divisions of Club América as sparring for this activation at the Center for High Performance of the Mexican Football Federation.
"First of all, I would like to thank the owners, the executives, the sports directors, for understanding and allowing the players to come. It is very important for us," said Cocca in a brief press conference after the practice with his players at the CAR.

"I also thank the players, I felt very comfortable and happy to start getting to know them, and it is very important to have them close," he added. "They should feel that there is a different leadership and a different way, we will help each other to try to put each member of the national team at their highest level."
Marcel Ruiz, the last to join the concentration after coming from the match between Querétaro and Toluca, also talked with Cocca and limited himself to regeneration work.
Also present at the training session were Jaime Ordiales, director of national teams, and Rodrigo Ares de Parga, general sports director of the Mexican Football Federation, marking the beginning of the project towards the 2026 World Cup to be held in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
