Chivas dominate and defeat Santos 2-0 at the Akron Stadium

The Rebaño reached 21 points and temporarily placed themselves in third position in the standings. Víctor Guzmán and Fernando Beltrán were the goalscorers in their fourth consecutive victory.

A long-range strike from Beltrán made it 2-0 just before half time. The midfielder took advantage of a rebound and scored his first goal of the tournament with his right foot.

Four and counting, the joys, hopes, positive numbers, and communion with the fans seem to have returned to Chivas.

For the next match, they will visit Puebla on Friday, while Santos will host Xolos de Tijuana on Sunday.
