Ticketless Ticket Offices at Estadio Corregidora
Empty ticket offices, no signs of any matches, and no personnel performing any external repairs: that's how Estadio Corregidora looks a few days before the anniversary of a brawl between fan groups that left 26 people injured and over 70 detained.
The match against Toluca (on March 5th) seemed to be the prelude to the return of the fans, to cheer on the Gallos, but as the week went on, uncertainty grew.
As of this Friday, Querétaro club has not yet presented the security plan and create the command center in civil protection to provide certainty in the stadium.
The venue looks empty. It was said that Gallos trained in closed doors in the morning for the match against Toluca, but outside there is no staff, and the entrances are closed.
The ticket offices are empty, and there are no fans waiting for tickets, only people peeking to buy, but for a concert by El Buki.
It is expected that on March 19th, the fans will return, a date previously announced for the opening match against Cruz Azul.
Until this afternoon, neither the club nor the authorities have expressed any possible opening against Toluca.
