Tigers announced Marco Antonio Ruiz as their new coach following Diego Cocca's departure to the Mexican national team, as informed by the club's board in a press conference led by Mauricio Culebro.
New coaching staff
The new coaching staff is as follows: Marco Antonio "Chima" Ruiz as head coach, Juninho, Marcos Ayala, and Hugo Ayala as assistants, and Juan Carlos Ortega as the coaching staff advisor, the position that Migue Mejía Barón had with Ricardo Ferretti. They will be in charge of taking the reins of a club that was left adrift overnight.
