The self-imposed deadline by the FMF is before the start of the Nations League in March, as the new coach needs to start working on his project before this tournament. ESPN reported that the president of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), Yon de Luisa, will be in charge of announcing the structure of the National Teams, but only that because there is no formal agreement with the candidates. The arrival of Rodrigo Ares de Parga as the new executive general director will be made official in the statement.
In the press conference, led by the FMF and the Liga MX, Jaime Ordiales will also be ratified as the sports director of the Men's National Teams. Both will answer to the National Team Commission, which is made up of the owners of the clubs Chivas, América, Santos, Necaxa, and Tijuana.
