"Santiago is our player, the issue is not being included in the plans because there is an order that we follow, with the incorporation of Daniel Ríos, we have to make decisions based on what we want for the team. There's nothing else, we've had a conversation with him and told him how things are, understanding that there is competition," said in a press conference.

Ríos, Ronaldo Cisneros, and José González are players who can play as forwards and their qualities are above those of Ormeño, that's why the red-and-white coaching staff made that decision.

Despite the departure of the forward, there will be no other arrivals, as Paunovic appeals to the fact that the players from the current squad earn their place.

"If we have someone in the team who feels like a second or third option, and wants to leave, it's not for us. If they feel that they play a secondary role and want to improve, they have to earn it.
