"The new complaint, obtained by Rolling Stone, was filed just before the December 31 deadline for a three-year "lookback" window that temporarily lifted the statute of limitations on child sexual assault claims in California," the report reads.
It is worth noting that almost two decades ago, the Mexican pop diva was accused of the same charges, but a judge acquitted her.
The news is an exclusive from the mentioned magazine, having obtained the complaint. Likewise, it emphasizes that while both characters are not specifically mentioned, "it is clear that they are the two main accused based on the details, including the concerts that took place in 1990 and the albums she recorded".
