Cruz Azul vs. América faced off this Tuesday, December 27th, on the last match of Group A of the 2022 Sky Cup, at the Nemesio Diez Stadium in Mexico. The match started at 7:00 p.m. (local time) and was broadcasted by TUDN, Canal 5, VIX, and Sky HD. On this occasion, 'La Maquina Cementera' defeated 'Las Aguilas' 2-1, securing their spot in the final of the Mexican tournament. Rotondi and Estrada scored for Raúl Gutierrez's team, while Reyes netted the only goal for Fernando Ortiz's side.

Clausura 2023: when does the tournament start?

After Pachuca won the title of the Apertura tournament, the Liga MX teams began working towards the following year.
