Despite the inclement weather, the Spanish-Argentinian duo formed by Arturo Coello and Fernando Belasteguín wrote their name in golden letters by becoming the first champion couple of the paddle tournament held in the Sultana del Norte.
After an hour and 40 minutes full of emotions, in a match that had to be defined in three sets, the victory by the team formed by the European and South American over Agustín Tapia and 'Sanyo' Gutiérrez was the icing on the cake to a week full of intensity that can only be seen in paddle.
"I am very happy, it was a very difficult week for everyone, for the organizer who made a great effort, the players also made a great effort to play two matches in one day and at night, in conditions that now we were at risk, but we assumed the risk in order to finish the tournament, I take with me from Monterrey the organizer's effort and what we did now," said Belasteguín at the end of the Final.
An Argentine just won the 230th title of his career. It was at the Mexico Major, the most important Premier Padel category.

The final of the Mexico Major Premier Padel ended with a 6-3, 3-6, and 6-3, enough for Coello and Bela to claim the championship of the tournament and delight the locals with the best of the sport throughout a whole week.
"I am at peace, in two days Milan continues, then the Masters, then vacations but this continues," added the Argentine.
It's worth noting that during the last few days, some activities had to be postponed due to the weather conditions that were present in the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey, and for that reason, the Semifinals were played on the morning of the last day of the tournament.
To reach the Final of the event, the championship couple defeated Di Nenno and Nieto in two sets 7-6 and 6-4, while Tapia and Gutiérrez did the same against Chingotto and Garrido with scores of 6-2, 6-7, and 7-5 in the Semis.
With this victory, Fernando Belasteguín added his 230th title out of 285 Finals played.
