The MX League reported that after performing a series of tests on Óscar Ustari, neurological damage to the Pachuca goalkeeper was ruled out, so he will be able to train and play in the second leg match, after feeling dizzy in the first leg of the Apertura 2022 semifinals due to a blow to the face.

"After the studies carried out this Friday, the specialist doctor determined that Óscar Ustari does not have neurological damage and is in condition to train and participate with Club Pachuca," the MX League said in a statement.

The Pachuca goalkeeper revealed that a blow to the face that he received accidentally from Jesús Gallardo, during a play that ended with a penalty in favor of Monterrey, made him dizzy, to the point that he faced Rogelio Funes Mori's shot, which he ultimately saved.

The MX League thanked the willingness of both the Tuzos and the player to undergo the tests established in the Concussion Protocol mentioned above, and thus, Óscar Ustari is ready to face the second and decisive match between Pachuca and Rayados.

The second leg of the series will be played on Sunday at 20:06 at Estadio BBVA. Pachuca obtained a wide advantage of 5-2 over Monterrey in the first leg at Estadio Hidalgo, with a great performance from the top scorer of the Apertura 2022, Nicolás Ibáñez, and Rayados needs to defeat the Tuzos by three goals in order to tie the overall score and reach the final.

In response to this, Rogelio Funes Mori, a Mexican national team player who missed the penalty against Ustari, is confident in turning the tie around at home in front of his fans. "I have failed time and time again in my life. That is the main reason for my success," was the quote published by El 'Mellizo', who added the following text in his Instagram stories: "I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE. One more match in our field, all together."
