The Leagues Cup 2023, which will be played between Liga MX and MLS, has been made official and will be a tournament that will give up to eight million dollars to the finalists, as well as offering places for the Concacaf Champions League.
The tournament between Liga MX and MLS will allow the finalists of the competition to win up to eight million dollars, accumulated from the amounts they receive for advancing in each round.
All participating teams will receive a payment in dollars for each match they play and can receive up to eight million if they reach the final.

In 2022, there were already some exhibition matches, in what was called the Leagues Cup Showcase, which is a prelude to an ambitious tournament that will be played next summer and is expected to have the approval of Concacaf.
