Last weekend the duels of the regular stage of the Apertura 2022 Tournament of the Liga MX were completed, confirming which teams qualified for the repechage and which advanced directly to the quarterfinals. The one-match repechage round will be played from this Saturday, October 8, and here we tell you the details of the matchups.

REPECHAGE OF APERTURA 2022 LIGA MX

Tigres vs. Necaxa - Saturday, October 8 (7:00 p.m. Peruvian and Mexican time)

Tigres (5th) had an irregular campaign closure and was left out of the direct qualification zone for the liguilla. However, Miguel Herrera's team will have the option to advance at home, at the Universitario Stadium, by facing Necaxa (12th), a club that miraculously advanced after not winning any of their last five matches.

Cruz Azul vs. León - Saturday, October 8 (9:15 p.m. Peruvian and Mexican time)

The most attractive match of the repechage will be Cruz Azul (7th) vs. León (10th), teams that have been champions in recent years. The clash will take place at the Estadio Azteca and 'La Máquina', who comes with four consecutive victories, has a slight favoritism.

Toluca vs. FC Juárez - Sunday, October 9 (12:00 p.m. Peruvian and Mexican time)

Toluca (6th) had seven winless matches (four draws and three losses), but defeated Querétaro 4-1 in the last round of the Apertura. This time, once again at the Nemesio Díez Stadium, the 'Diablos Rojos' will try to stand strong against FC Juárez (11th), one of the surprises of the championship.

Puebla vs. Chivas - Sunday, October 9 (4:30 p.m. Peruvian and Mexican time)

Finally, in a very close match, Puebla (8th) will face off against Chivas de Guadalajara (9th) at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium. The last time these teams clashed was on September 10th and the victory went to 'El Rebaño Sagrado' in Zapopan, with Alexis Vega's sole goal.
