Canelo Álvarez defeated Gennady Golovkin after a long 12-round fight, where the Mexican boxer was dominant at least in the first 7 rounds and it was enough to win the trilogy. The Kazakh boxer, who started with a low level, managed to rise between the eighth and tenth rounds, but it was not enough to cause any significant damage to 'Canelo'. This is the second victory of the Mexican fighter against 'GGG' and this closes a historic rivalry in boxing.
