The Mexican Pacific League confirms its calendar for the 2022-2023 season

With a total of 23 series, the Mexican Pacific League confirmed its calendar for the 2022-2023 season, where the Charros de Jalisco will seek to defend their championship.

The first round will consist of 12 series and the second round of 11. The season will begin on Tuesday, October 11th with the inaugural series in three cities: Zapopan will host Venados-Charros, Culiacán will host Algodoneros-Tomateros, and Monterrey will host the duel between Águilas-Sultanes. The first round will end on November 20th and two days later the second part will begin, which will end on December 29th.

Among the most notable matchups on the schedule is the visit of Tomateros to Estadio Móbil Super to face Sultanes from October 18th to 20th; the visit of Naranjeros to Culiacán from October 21st to 23rd; the Sultanes-Charros match at the end of November and the rematch of the final in the visit of Tomateros to Jalisco from December 16th to 18th; as it has been a tradition, all teams will have a rest on Christmas Eve and will have a game on Christmas Day.

The playoffs will start on New Year's Day, January 1st, and will culminate by January 29th at the latest. The championship team that will represent Mexico in the Caribbean Series will have a couple of days off before starting the international event, which this year will be held in Caracas, Venezuela, starting February 2nd.
