The Club América squad links two consecutive victories in the 2022 Apertura Tournament of the MX League and the objective is to add one more. In the ninth round, the 'Águilas' visit Pachuca and for now they have achieved a favorable result: Jonathan Rodríguez scored the 2-0 partial score at the beginning of the second half.
In the 48th minute, the team led by coach Fernando Ortiz started an attack on the right side, thanks to the performance of Paraguayan Richard Sánchez. The midfielder faced up to three opponents on the edge of the box and, with intelligence, made a pass to Diego Valdés.
The Chilean striker was in the penalty area, controlled the ball and made a surprising pause, which confused everyone in Pachuca. Finally, América's forward saw Jonathan Rodríguez's diagonal run on the left and played a perfect pass through the lines.
