Home Run Derby at the Major League Baseball (MLB) Took Place This Monday Afternoon
The Home Run Derby of the Major League Baseball (MLB) took place this Monday afternoon, where the best baseball players compete in a show to see who can hit the most home runs. The Dominican, Juan Soto, emerged as the winner, defeating rookie Julio Rodríguez by a score of 19 to 18 in the final.
However, despite the great home run festival that took place on the diamond and the exciting moments witnessed by all attendees, this joy was overshadowed by a fight between two fans in the stands of Dodger Stadium.
The video of the altercation has gone viral on Twitter, showing this pair of troublemakers hitting each other, despite both supporting the same team, as they were both wearing the Los Angeles Dodgers jersey with the number 22 of star pitcher Clayton Kershaw.
The fight that took place in the stadium stands was stopped thanks to the attendees who were close to the incident, preventing the fight from escalating to a major level.
It is worth noting that there has been no official statement from the authorities or from Major League Baseball after the altercation, the reasons for which are also still unknown.
The MLB All-Star Game will take place at 7:00 PM (Central Time) on Tuesday, where Mexican catcher Alejandro Kirk will participate as a starter for the American League team.
