The player Carlos Rotondi, who will join Cruz Azul as reinforcement for the upcoming Torneo Apertura 2022, said goodbye to Defensa y Justicia club from Argentina.
"I only have words of gratitude for all the people of ... it's a family, it's a moment of great nostalgia, it's not easy to say goodbye to a place that gave so much love.
"These are strange feelings, thanking everyone because I felt at home, they gave me unconditional love and I'm grateful for that," he said in a video posted by the club on social media.
In previous days, the clubs had established negotiations and reached an agreement for the transfer of the player, who would have a cost of around five million dollars.
It is expected that in the next few hours the player will be able to join the Celeste team, with a view to the next national football tournament, which will begin in July.
For now, the Máquina continues with their preseason work in search of achieving prominence, after falling short in the previous tournament in their quest to win another championship in their history.
