Dieter Villalpando returns to the top league's fields wearing Puebla jersey and scores his first goal with this team
After a long wait, Dieter Villalpando finally debuted with Puebla and scored a goal against Mazatlán, after being hired during the current Apertura 2021 tournament.
Dieter Villapando was confirmed by coach Nicolás Larcamón as part of the squad, after the first six matchdays, although he had previously reported to get in shape and be evaluated by the coaching staff, taking advantage of the registration deadline still being open.
The management left the final decision to Nicolás Larcamón to have him as a reinforcement after the legal issue he went through in Guadalajara, which led Chivas to dispense with his services.
Villalpando was accused in October of last year, so the red-and-white management first separated him from the squad and then released him.
Dieter Villalpando joined La Franja team as a free agent and on Tuesday, in the match of matchday 14, he played his first minutes. The player entered the field at the 52nd minute at Estadio Cuauhtémoc and scored at minute 95.
