The Dignity Health Sports Park of LA Galaxy will host the game between the champions of Guard1anes 2020 and 2021
On Sunday, July 18 of this year, the Champion of Champions will take place in Los Angeles, California between León, the champion of Guard1anes 2020, and the team that wins the Guard1anes 2021.
The game will be held at the Dignity Health Sports Park, home of the LA Galaxy of the MLS, for the benefit of all Mexican fans residing in the United States.
The Liga MX announced the event through a statement, which has become a tradition in recent years.
"The champion of the Apertura 2020 tournament of the LIGA MX, León, will face the champion of the Clausura 2021 Tournament of the LIGA MX, which will be decided on Sunday, May 30, to crown the Champion of Champions of the LIGA MX 2021," the statement said.
Meanwhile, it was announced that the winner of the Champion of Champions 2021 of the Liga MX will face the current champion of the MLS, Columbus Crew, in what will be the third edition of the Campeones Cup, the battle between the champions of the MLS and the LIGA MX.
This game is scheduled to take place in the week of September 27 and will be played at the New Crew Stadium, which will be inaugurated this year in Columbus, Ohio.
