The DC United announced the loan of Paul Arriola to Swansea City of the English second division. The loan of the winger, partner of Edison Flores in the MLS team, was borrowed until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
"We have spoken with Paul and understand how exciting this step is for him in his professional career. We wish Paul the best of luck and look forward to his return to our club", said DC United General Manager and Vice President of Soccer Operations, Dave Kasper.
Paul Arriola joined DC United in August 2017 from Xolos de Tijuana, where he made his professional debut.
"Winger Arriola has 35 international matches with the United States, scoring eight goals, and helped them win the Gold Cup in 2017," says Swansea City in the statement published on their website.
Welcome, Arriola! Swansea City have completed the signing of @dcunited forward @PaulArriola on loan for the rest of the season, subject to international clearance.
