"Don't move, my dear Ángel Sepúlveda", Antonio Valencia posted on Twitter this Monday in reference to the precision of his cross that connected with Mexican forward Ángel Sepúlveda for the goal that sealed Querétaro's 2-0 victory over Pumas de la UNAM on Sunday night.
Toño Valencia, as in his best time playing for Manchester United, projected himself at full speed on the right flank, looked up, and placed a pinpoint cross for Sepúlveda who was running in the same direction, through the center, and his header, against the ground, defeated goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera in the 43rd minute.
Nice week for everyone. Don't move my dear @angel_sepulveda15 pic.twitter.com/1D09jxIgBz

This way, Querétaro reached six points and climbed to fifth place in the standings.
Mexican newspapers highlighted the 'show of authority' that Gallos Blancos gave in the tournament by defeating Pumas.
'Querétaro stops Pumas at the Corregidora', titled Milenio, praising Valencia's 'escape' and his "great service" to Sepúlveda, who "signed accurately with a header".
El Universal reported on the new role that Ecuadorian Valencia performs in Héctor Altamirano's team after starting as a right back in the league debut against Toluca.
"Luis Antonio Valencia appeared, now playing as the second holding midfielder (number 5), to deliver a measured cross to Ángel Sepúlveda and score the second (43rd min)", says El Universal.
The newspaper ESTO, on the other hand, states: "When Altamirano's team accelerated again, they found their reward. Jerónimo Rodríguez gave all the facilities on the left side, Antonio Valencia delivered a cross into the area that found Sepúlveda's head, who did not forgive. In addition to the full-back's mistake, Johan and Rivas did not know how to defend the only forward in the danger zone".
Uruguayan Hugo Silveira missed the third goal in the 88th minute in a combination between Valencia and José Gurrola that left the striker with everything in his favor to score.
Pumas came close to scoring in stoppage time, but Jacob Morales failed to finish off an offensive play in front of goalkeeper Gerardo Ruiz.
The UNAM team faced this match with a short and youthful squad, and without the work of two of their best men: Juan Ignacio Dinenno and Alan Mozo, who did not play the former due to injury and the latter due to indiscipline.
In the fourth round of the championship, Querétaro will visit Cruz Azul next Saturday, and Pumas will host Atlas the following day. (D)
