Paraguayan footballers continue to shine abroad

As usual every weekend, Paraguayan footballers stand out abroad, especially in Mexico and Brazil. In Mexican football, forward Carlos González scored a goal for Pumas, who defeated Osvaldito Martínez's Puebla 4-1. Juan Manuel Iturbe also started for the feline team. It is González's 30th goal for Pumas, with 28 in the league and 2 in the Copa Mexico. In another match, Cruz Azul, with defender Juan Escobar as a starter, couldn't win away and lost 1-0 against Atlas.

BRAZILEIRÃO. Guarani players were also in action in the Brazilian first division. Palmeiras, with Gustavo Gómez as a starter and one of the stars, defeated Bragantino 2-1 away with goals from Gabriel Verón and Willian Gomes. Meanwhile, Botafogo, with goalkeeper Roberto Junior Fernández from the start, drew 2-2 against Corinthians. As for Gatito, there is still no news about the incident of kicking a VAR cabin in the previous match.
