Victor Manuel Vucetich will reunite with players who were previously under his orders in other teams at Chivas

GUADALAJARA -- Victor Manuel Vucetich will reunite with Hiram Mier, Isaac Brizuela, and Oribe Peralta at Chivas, players who at some point coincided in their careers as coach and have been under his orders.

The defender met Vucetich in Queretaro, while Oribe and Brizuela were part of the players that the Mexican strategist called up during his time as coach of the Mexican National Team in the qualification for Brazil 2014.

Hiram Mier arrived at Gallos in Clausura 2017 and played four games under Vucetich due to the Mexican's dismissal as Queretaro's coach. The Gallos' management couldn't bear the team's poor start, as they only accumulated two points in four games, with two draws against Morelia and Puebla and two defeats, the first against Veracruz and the last one against Chivas.

As a longtime acquaintance of Vucetich, Hiram Mier was called up for the Hexagonal qualifying matches for Brazil 2014, but he didn't have the confidence of the Mexican coach to start in the matches.

Isaac Brizuela will coincide with Vucetich for the second time. The midfielder was called up by the coach to face the matches of the Mexican National Team against Panama and Costa Rica, which were part of the final hexagonal qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil 2014. Brizuela, who still wore the Toluca jersey, was not considered in the starting eleven for the qualifying matches.

Oribe Peralta is another old acquaintance who will coincide with Vucetich at Chivas. Like Mier and Brizuela, Peralta was called up for the matches against Panama and Costa Rica when the Mexican coach managed the Mexican National Team. Unlike "Cone" and Hiram, Oribe had the opportunity to play minutes in these two qualifying matches.

Against Panama, Peralta played the full 90 minutes of the match and also scored the second goal of the game in favor of the Mexicans at minute 40. In the match against Costa Rica, Vucetich gave the forward the trust again and he responded by scoring two goals for the Mexican National Team, the first goal was disallowed for committing a foul on Keylor Navas; while the second goal was the correct one at the 28th minute.
