César 'Chelito' Delgado wants to come out of retirement; he has three offers in Mexico.

Gabriel Pereyra, coach of Cimarrones, asked 'Chelito' if he wants to come back to professional soccer after a year of retirement.

César 'Chelito' Delgado wants to play again, after retiring a year ago; however, he explained to ESPN Digital that three teams in Mexico are 'tempting' him and his desire is to step on the fields as an active player again.

In fact, he stated that he would not do it for money, but for the place where he could come to play, as this is very important to him, in addition to recognizing that he will have to see if his body responds, after being inactive for many months.

César Delgado indicated that he received two offers to ask him if he would like to play, although they are not invitations as such, they are from the Expansion League, as well as an invitation from Cimarrones in the Expansion League.

"It is my desire to play again, I have spoken with two people, one from the Second Division, or the Expansion League; they asked me if I intended to play and I told them yes, but with this pandemic it is very difficult," he explained at the beginning.

"Two people from two places I am interested in called me, I won't say the names to avoid more 'mess'. Gaby Pereyra also asked me if I wanted to go to his team (Cimarrones) and I told him I would think about it, that I would see how the situation with the pandemic is. Here in Argentina everything is stopped, you can't leave the country, but my desire to play again is there, and it makes me happy that they are inviting me to play in Mexico."

When he was informed that there is a salary cap of 150,000 pesos in the Mexican Soccer League, he said: "Here it's not about money, it's about the fact that they have asked me and that is important, that they have asked me if I wanted to play again. It fills me with joy and well, I have the desire and the will to play again."

However, he said that later on he will see if he finally decides to return to Mexican lands to play, as with the Covid-19 issue it is impossible to plan.

HE HOPES HIS BODY RESPONDS

On the other hand, he did not hesitate to state that whatever happens, he will continue making videos on Tik Tok, as it is something that he enjoys a lot, "and then, you have to prepare well, as I have done all my life; that won't be a problem. We will see how the body responds after a long time. It is a desire that I have, but it does not depend solely and exclusively on me."
