The new normality of Mexican football contemplates matches every day, from Monday to Sunday, considering that the Liga MX would play from Thursday to Monday and the Liga de Expansión MX on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, a proposal being analyzed and one of the reasons why the presentation of the next tournament's calendar, Guard1anes 2020, was postponed, informed sources to ESPN Digital.

The schedule for the Apertura 2020 tournament, which will be called Guard1anes in honor of the people who have worked to mitigate the pandemic, was planned for today, July 5th, but due to the fact that an agreement has not yet been reached with all the teams involved, everything was postponed until next Sunday.

Due to the lack of ticket sales at stadiums, there is a desire for football to be played every day, with the aim of avoiding any overlap of matches and providing teams with greater economic benefits to help them recover from the current crisis.

The Liga de Expansión MX, which has 17 registered teams, would play on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, in search of higher ratings and to avoid conflicting with the schedules of the Liga MX. It is expected that an agreement will be reached with all involved parties this week and the idea of having Mexican football every day can materialize.
