José de Jesús Corona, goalkeeper and captain of Cruz Azul, reiterated his support for Guillermo Álvarez, president of the team and the Cooperative, following investigations by the Financial Investigation Unit of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.

"We have received the video you made, regarding the issue that has us calm because we know the kind of person you are and your team supports and recognizes you as a great person. A person who has always sought the good of the company and that's why it is strong and successful," said the captain on behalf of the entire team, through a video on his social media.

In addition, he pointed out that it doesn't matter if there are cooperative members interested in destabilizing the company's course, as they trust in 'Billy's' management.

"We know that there are envious people who always seek to destabilize, but rest assured, we recognize you, we value you greatly, and we are grateful for the work you do. Your team is with you, Mr. 'Billy' Álvarez, and thank you for the support you have always given us, especially in these difficult times."
