GUADALAJARA -- Jesús Molina is the captain of Chivas and although he has played for America, Tigres, Monterrey, and Santos, the 32-year-old player says his biggest desire is to retire with the rojiblancos.
"Undoubtedly, I truly desire to retire at Chivas, it is a great team in the Liga MX, fighting to qualify and continue to transcend, surpassing the hated rival, sportingly speaking, and I want to be part of the history of this Guadalajara, I know this stage will be good, we will make history in this club," said Jesús Molina, in an Instagram Live of Chivas.

Molina, a champion with America and Santos, joined Chivas in December 2018 and admits that playing for the rojiblancos was not in his plans, as he was a fan of the Águilas in his childhood.
"I am sincere, I like to be honest, I never imagined joining Chivas, it never crossed my mind, but when the opportunity came to me, I didn't hesitate for a moment. I knew I would be heavily criticized because of my past and I knew I had to show and prove myself. There are people who criticize me and others who support me, the majority is with me, that's why I am eager to be a champion and enter the team's history."
