Dorados de Sinaloa stated that as an institution they are "convinced that the format (Ascenso MX) was worn out" and that they are looking to "evolve with new rules to shine as a spot in the Liga BBVA MX."
"We have shown that the objective of our institution has always been to reach the top league. In the sports area, we have tried as no one else has, as demonstrated by the tournaments, finals, championships, and characters who have come to write stories."
"We believe, of course, in sporting merit, in the players, in the work of those who make it possible for us to open the stadium doors, and in the Sinaloa fans who drive us to be better week after week. With these principles as our driving force, we have chosen to reinvent ourselves, and we are confident that we will more accurately achieve our goal, once again demonstrating that we are first-rate," the entity wrote in a statement.
Additionally, they indicated that "keeping silent has never been about silencing" and that the social situation, as well as an arbitrary regulatory limitation, have always been issues that will continue to be discussed with league authorities in search of proposals to "evolve" towards competition formats and rules, following the cancellation of the Clausura 2020 and the end of the health contingency.
