QUERÉTARO -- Midfielder Santiago Caseres made his debut with America's jersey this weekend, playing the last nine minutes of the game against Querétaro.
The Argentine received his work visa in the middle of the week and came on as a substitute in the 81st minute for Mexican player Henry Martín, with the score 2-1 in favor of America.
Caseres had not played in an official game since April 28, 2019, wearing the Villarreal jersey.
The South American player has been dealing with injuries in recent months, which prevented him from having activity with the Yellow Submarine.
